(From Devs) Hello everyone - with today's update we have updated few font size issues for few places in the game - terrain info and codex, we are going to identify more and try to work on them.

The Chinese text is certainly too tiny, several interfaces are completely unreadable due to this.
For exsample, the introduction text for "Puddle" is not readable even when you are close to the screen.
Please address the serious issues as quickly as possible, the Chinese forum is rife with gamers' weeping and complaints.

On behalf of Chinese gamers, I would like to thank the creator of this fantastic game. The gaming experience is significantly diminished for Chinese players due to the difficult-to-read small text in part of interface, in several areas. I'm hoping the game developer will find a solution as soon as feasible.

Can you provide the function to change the game font? Chinese is not the same as English, there are more than 8000 characters, the game font directly affects the experience.

Hello everyone! Thank you for everyone's thought and we are aware this needs to be addressed! It might take sometime but we have decided to work on this ASAP - we are going through another round of Localization QA and find ways to make this better experience.

Is there a way to modify the Chinese font? The reality of the font in the game is very unclear, I hope we can be given a way to change the default font.

@Peter Lieu, unfortunately, we cannot because of license reasons. Do you mean the readability of the font is not great?

Not exactly, because Chinese and English are very different, Chinese fonts need to be very rounded and bold to be more clear and good looking.
In fact, you do not need to modify the default font of the game, you just need to provide the method of modification.

I love that you can change the subtitle size but it could be conveniant to be able to modify the UI size a little bit some descritions of skills and such an be pretty hard to read sometimes

Hi everyone,

It's not just for Chinese! English too. Everytime I open a menu, I have to get up from my couch and get 1 meter in front of my TV screen just to read it.
I do not read the codex at all because of that :(

This has been implemented in GM1.03.00.R320 on 11/29/2022.
From the patch notes (https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/1580520/view/3519029136668082304):
- Starting with this patch, the default value for subtitle & UI font size will be applied as large font.
- The change will not be applied for players who previously set the font size under Settings. Players who have not will see the large font applied by default.
- Added UI font size option to Settings (can be set to default or large font)
- Improved Chinese font size. We will continue to make further improvements.
