Party Portraits on HUD

So I'm used to 25 years of RPGs where we see the party character portraits on the HUD (vertically or horizonatlly aligned which are clickable in both TB or RT based).
I've tried to locate this but cant seem to find any option. Is this not a feature in this game?

Games lovely but small QoL things like this make the experience a lot better.

As long-time RPG fans ourselves, we understand how the character bar can be useful. We did consider adding one in Lost Eidolons during development, but concluded shortcut keys for quickly cycling through characters would provide a better overall gameplay experience.

The two main reasons were visibility and UI. The character bar would have hampered visibility in combat, as it would take up space on the screen. As for UI, the character bar would have negatively impacted gameplay experience--especially for those using controllers.
