All weapons shouldnt be identical statistically
Use of weapons countering armor is interesting rather than the weapon triangle we've come to know from the genre, but the stats of equipment overall is really underwhelming. The fact that all basic bows, swords, spears, and all tomes (6 out of 7 weapon types in the game) are statistically identical is a very bland and boring take on items. Perhaps, rather than replacing the weapon triangle using it and the new weapons vs armor relationship would be a nice strategic depth, or letting swords, spears, bows, and axes have more defining features inherent to their weapon types would be great improvement.

Stats for weapons and armor have been set based on careful considerations of combat balance, and any changes made to the weapons and their stats will require a potential overhaul of the combat balance. We can take this suggestion for our future projects, but it will not be implemented for Lost Eidolons.
