Add battalion feature that attaches a character to another character to boost stat

my suggestion has to do with the soldiers that we see in battle, the ones in the background. Have you ever thought of maybe adding a batallion feature? Having recruitable NPCs/soldiers that you can attatch to a character that may add extra advantages? More health, more damage, crit rate ect. I enjoy seeing the soldiers in the background but I feel like something could actually be done WITH them.

Thank you for the suggestion to reinforce the sense of fighting through a war where many lives are at stake. We indeed wanted to create such an atmosphere, hence added the soldiers in the combat close-ups, camp, and other places. While it would be difficult to add new mechanics to Lost Eidolons, we will consider ways to provide a stronger sense of being part of a greater conflict in our future projects.

For the aspect of adding buffs to units, the aide system does serve this purpose: Tacticians can weigh different boosts and assign the aide as they see fit.
