Inconsistency in item-based passive skill names

From Discord by faerghast:
Rare Spear
has two passives
Rare Spear
but also
Sharp(rare)

but Placid Plated Armor has two as well, but its naming conventions are different?
Rare Plated Armor
and
Placid(Rare)
why is it Rare Plated, and not Placid Plated?
Honed Blade's passives are
Rare Sword and Honed (rare)
but there's a sword literally called Rare Sword
i don't know how wise it is to have weapon names share a passive ability

Thank you for reporting this to us. We reviewed the strings with the team, and could see where there could be confusion. We discussed internally about how best we could go about this topic.

While running a sweep of all gear and passive skill strings would not be impossible, we saw that it would be a massive undertaking, as well as creating the additional risk of confusing Tacticians who are already used to the current text. Our conclusion was to keep things as-is for Lost Eidolons, but be more vigilant for our future projects so that we minimize any similar occurrences in the future.
