[Spoiler] Make improvements to the ending
From Discord by Vale:
Ending… i was so invested in the story and game… but the ending was so anticlimactic and no closure. Argh. Loved the game otherwise. Haven’t been this mad about an ending since ME3

JuffacakeSomething akin to how Fallout new vegas did their end slideshow could work. Trouble I had with the ending was that we had to interpret the events as there was no supporting story written.

ValePeople have spent hours upon hours listening and reading in very small font, dialogues and banter between these characters to make it to the end of the road. We're talking about forming some connection and rapport with Eden, March, Francisco and so many others. They've worried that he's changing towards the end, and that seems to almost come true as the final cutscene plays.
But after that... nothing? No answers, no closure, no conclusion or follow up to anyone or everyone that we've spent time looking after?
I was so worried about how the band had shrunk to only the last two remaining friends, but that feeling of at least returning to Lonetta was... never understood at the end? What bout who we chose to 'romance'?
I hate to draw comparisons to Dragon Age, Witcher or even Suikoden with 100 cast members, but at least, we knew what we had fought for, what happened after and that all that effort had been worth it. This ending or lack of one left us feeling emotionally cheated. -

JuffacakeAgree with Vale.
My personal take on what would work would be as follows, but it would be a lot of work for sure:
- A slide for each character and what has happened to them after the war
- A slide for the romance option and what happened to them and Eden
- Perhaps a generalised slide of what happens if certain key characters die
- What happens to the factions of the game
I think closure, for a lot of people (myself included), is what rounds-out an experience.
When we're left with more answers, it kind of undermines what we've done a little bit, unless this is intentionally left for a sequel, but some text or something to signify that would go a long way. Otherwise its like, okay we did that but then... what happens? -

ODS_ThorThor AdminFrom upuaut2 on Steam:
there should be a narrator telling us the outcome of the events at the end
it felt a little odd, only showing pictures at the end.

Lorenz LamperougeThe plot of this game is obviously adapted from the Qin and Han war history of ancient Chinese history. The hero's prototype is Liu Bang, the founding emperor of the Han Dynasty, and the prototype of BOSS is Xiang Yu, Liu Bang's opponent. Every character can find almost the same archetypal character in this history. So it's actually a good thing that the story of this game is left blank, because according to the reference of this game to this period of history, the end of this game is likely to be a tragedy - in history, Liu Bang almost killed all the heroes who followed him to establish the Han Dynasty.

ODS GeeK AdminWe also see the need for making improvements to the ending. The team is currently working on ideas to make it better. We will share more details in the future as things become more concrete!
